In the LiNC lab, we strive to understand how maintenance, switching, and updating of information varies with age, types of stimuli, brain structure and brain function.
Cognitive training in both younger and older adults has been used to investigate improvements in long-term memory, short-term memory, inhibition, multi-tasking and speed of information processing.
We also conduct research to investigate effects of cardiovascular fitness on cognitive and neural correlates across both younger and older adults.
