The Cerebrovascular Lab at the IEEM is directed by Dr. Rong Zhang, professor of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. The lab studies brain aging and the effects of cardiovascular risk factors and lifestyle changes. Dr. Zhang’s is currently conducting research looking at the effects of lifestyle modifications on Alzheimer’s Disease risk factors, in older adults.
